Stress rarely announces itself clearly. Sometimes it burns hot and fast, driving urgency, reactivity, and exhaustion. Other times it settles in like fog, muting sensation, dulling focus, and making even simple decisions feel heavy. And occasionally, stress sharpens into something else entirely, a moment of clarity that asks for attention rather than avoidance.

This approach to stress management isn’t about eliminating stress. It’s about learning how to read it.

When you understand how stress shows up in your body and nervous system, it stops being an enemy and starts becoming information. Fire can be cooled and directed. Fog can be slowed until it thins. Clarity can be recognized and trusted. The goal isn’t to stay calm at all costs, but to stay present enough to respond instead of react.

In this work, you learn to do stress better. To recognize its patterns, regulate your response, and choose how it moves through you rather than letting it run the show. Stress doesn’t disappear, but it becomes workable. And from that steadier place, insight, choice, and forward motion return.

I can’t remove the stressful situation from your life, I can, however, teach you tools and techniques that empower you to have greater choice in your response to the stressful path in front of you. I, of course, lean into my favorite modalities of hypnosis and gestalt for this process.

I also offer group workshops that guide your team to handle stress in a healthier, more mindful way while increasing their interpersonal awareness, communication, empathy, and productivity.

This is not a state sanctioned, licensed mental health session. If you feel you need a licensed therapist, I am happy to provide you with referrals to reputable, amazing, therapists in a variety of specialties and who work within a variety of modalities. I am not a state licensed psychologist or psychiatrist. Thankfully, I am, and you by proxy are, not beholden to a book of diagnosis definitions, insurance classifications, government regulations (as long as neither of us cause harm), or corporate influenced sales quotas.
